The upgrade of the cenotaph precinct has de-cluttered the open space while restoring the link with Parliament, in line with the original vision from the 1920s.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the Cenotaph\u2019s close links with Parliament and remembrance of both World Wars, the area&#8217;s history goes back to Maori settlement.\u00a0It\u2019s always rewarding to participate in a project that has so much meaning to a city and pays homage to our national identity.
