Auckland Waterfront
The Auckland Waterfront has come alive after revitalisation of Wynyard Quarter, a 36-hectare area of reclaimed land stretching from the eastern side of Viaduct Harbour to the Western Wall facing the Westhaven marina and previously known as the tank farm.
The Urban Design Framework for Wynyard Quarter has been awarded in the 2012 New Zealand Institute of Architecture national awards and is currently New Zealand’s biggest urban renewal project situated alongside Auckland’s prime waterfront location.
