Victoria Square Christchurch
Restoration of earthquake damaged Victoria Square Christchurch.
The $6 million restoration plan will retain existing features such as the Queen Victoria and Captain Cook statues as well as the floral clock and the illuminated Bowker Fountain. The site’s significance to Ngai Tahu will be recognised through a new artwork — Mana Motuhake.
The extensive paving will use natural stone and Steintec’s long established and proven range of natural, high performance paving mortars. Totally compliant with the BS7533 Standards for Modular Paving, and are favoured around the world where success and high performance top the list of requirements.
