ESCOFET – Flor
FLOR is a reinforced cast stone bench with two formats, installed using a subtle play of similarities and differences. Its radical biomorphic design permits paired or individual usage to preserve the user´s intimacy. The FLOR bench design employs the concepts of equality and diversity, part of the research that has inspired the architectural work of architects Mansilla & Tuñón. FLOR was first installed in the entrance courtyard of the Madrid Regional Library and Archives building, the former El Águila brewery. Acid-etched and waterproofed, Free-standing.
