High performance stabilised jointing sand for unbound concrete setts and flags.

Unique tuffglass™ technology.

Enviropave natural eco-friendly binder of recycled glass blended with natural organic products, free of all manufactured resins, polymers and cement.

tuffsand is suitable for all traffic conditions. Pedestrian and trafficked pavements, drives and patios. Specially developed for stone slabs and all precast concrete modular paving; setts and flags. Stronger and longer lasting than plain sand jointed paving and without the negative effects of synthetic or chemical polymers. Suitable for repair and maintenance of existing pavements.

tuffsand is and quick, easy and safe to apply. No cement, resin, polymers or toxic chemicals. No special tools or PPE required.

No cement residue.

No “picture frame” stains from resins and polymers. Simply brush into open joints and rinse excess away.

Pavement can be immediately trafficked.

tuffsand is durable. Application of water activates the natural ingredients, strongly binding together the specially graded blend of sand and recycled glass. The entire pavement structure is effectively locked resisting movement of paving elements and loss of jointing material commonly associated with sand jointing.

More resistant to modern public realm cleaning methods such as mechanical brushing, water jetting and vacuum cleaning. Tuffsand reacts with water to heal cracks, realign particles and bind them again to maintain strength and integrity.

tuffsand stiffens when dry and swells when damp, continually adjusting sympathetically with the needs of the pavement in all conditions.

No manufactured chemicals, resins or polymers to degrade over time. No reliance on fossil fuel by-products and artificial binders.

Unlimited service life, topping up can be made at any time during the life of a pavement.

tuffsand is water permeable.

tuffsand allows water to permeate whilst reducing the loss of material commonly associated with sand filled joints.

tuffglass™ technology provides a more open matrix without any loss of structural integrity, a natural solution to a man made problem.

Fully compliant with industry standards.
